Trip leaders, planners and writers who know what Muslim travellers actually need.

Who we hire

Trip leaders who have guided small groups and can hold a room of 16 people without shouting. Itinerary planners who have booked a hotel in a medina and know why that is hard. Writers who have been to the places they write about.

We are remote-first and English-speaking. Experience of travelling as a Muslim is worth more to us than a tourism qualification.

What the work involves

Trip leaders run a route end to end — airport to airport — with a local guide alongside in most countries. Planners build and cost routes before they go on sale. Writers produce the guides we publish.

How to apply

Email info@joyotour.com with what you have done and which routes you know best. No cover letter template, no buzzwords — tell us a trip you ran and what went wrong on it.

Do you hire outside the countries you operate in?

Yes. Planning, writing and support roles are remote. Trip leader roles are contracted per departure.

Do you take on guides without professional experience?

Sometimes, for people who know a city properly and can look after a group. Tell us what you know rather than what you are certified in.
