## Overview

Our best-selling trip and the one we recommend to first-time visitors. Twelve days, one country, and a route that domestic flights instead of overnight buses — so you spend your time in Cappadocia rather than on a motorway. Every included meal is halal, every day has mosque stops written into it, and the group is capped at 16 travellers with one trip leader plus local guides in Cappadocia and Pamukkale.


## Day by day

### Days 1–3 — Istanbul
Arrival transfer and a slow first evening around Sultanahmet. Two full days on the classics: the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace and the Grand Bazaar, plus a Bosphorus crossing and Friday prayer at a historic mosque.

### Days 4–6 — Cappadocia
Fly to Kayseri. Sunrise hot-air balloon flight, the Göreme Open Air Museum, cave churches cut into soft volcanic rock and a night in a cave hotel. Evening prayer at a village mosque in the valleys.

### Day 7 — Konya
The Mevlâna Museum and the legacy of Rumi, with time for the dervish quarters around the shrine. A quieter day by design after Cappadocia.

### Days 8–9 — Pamukkale
White travertine terraces, the Roman ruins of Hierapolis and warm thermal pools. Unhurried afternoons and an early night.

### Days 10–12 — Antalya
Kaleiçi old harbour, Hadrian's Gate and the Düden waterfalls. A free final afternoon, then departure transfers.

## Halal food and prayer

Every included meal is halal. Restaurants are Muslim-owned, halal-certified, or checked in person by our Istanbul team before the group arrives. No pork, no alcohol, and seafood or vegetarian backups pre-planned at every stop.

Prayer times are printed on the daily schedule, not squeezed around it. Mosque stops are written into every day — Süleymaniye and Çamlıca in Istanbul, village mosques in Cappadocia, the shrine mosque in Konya.

## FAQ

**How big is the group?**
16 travellers maximum, 12 on average. There is one trip leader with you for the whole trip, plus licensed local guides in Cappadocia and Pamukkale.

**Is the balloon flight guaranteed?**
It is included in the price and we rebook or refund it if the Civil Aviation Authority grounds flights for weather on your morning.

**Can I join as a solo woman traveller?**
Yes. Around 60% of travellers on this trip join solo and over half are women. You can room with another sister, and the group is alcohol-free with a written code of conduct.
