> Iftar with the group, tarawih nightly, and the easiest halal country on earth

## Overview

Travelling in Ramadan is not a compromise if the trip is built for it. Malaysia is the easiest halal country on earth — halal is the default, bazaars open every afternoon and mosques fill at night — and we run this departure around the month rather than despite it: later starts, iftar with the group every evening, tarawih arranged nightly, and sightseeing in the hours that are actually pleasant when you are fasting.

## Day by day

### Days 1–3 — Kuala Lumpur
The Petronas Towers, the National Mosque and Istana Negara, with iftar at the Ramadan bazaar and tarawih arranged each night.

### Days 4–5 — Melaka
The old Straits port: the Kampung Kling Mosque, Jonker Street and the Peranakan quarter, with an easy daytime pace.

### Days 6–8 — Penang
George Town's mosques and clan jetties, the Kapitan Keling Mosque, street food for iftar and a farewell dinner.

## Included

- 7 nights in Muslim-friendly hotels
- Daily sahur or breakfast plus iftar every evening

- Tarawih arrangements confirmed at a mosque near the hotel each night
- Local guides in Kuala Lumpur, Melaka and Penang

## Not included

- International flights to and from Kuala Lumpur
- Travel insurance (required on all departures)
- Lunch during fasting hours

## Halal food and prayer

Malaysia is the easiest halal country on earth. Every included meal is halal, and the Ramadan bazaars give you more choice in the evening than a restaurant could.

Tarawih is arranged nightly at a mosque near the hotel, and all five prayers are built into the day rather than fitted around sightseeing.
