# The halal promise, written down so you can hold us to it

> Four commitments that apply to every departure we run — not 'where possible', not 'on request'.

## 1. Halal dining, guaranteed

Every included meal is halal. Restaurants are Muslim-owned or halal-certified, and we check them before the group arrives rather than on the day. No pork and no alcohol enter the kitchen. Seafood and vegetarian backups are pre-planned at every stop.

We do not hand you a list and wish you luck on free evenings — your trip leader carries a shortlist for every city on the route.

## 2. Prayer is in the schedule

Prayer times are printed on the daily schedule, not fitted in around sightseeing. Mosque stops are written into every day and Friday prayer is arranged in whichever city the group is in that morning.

Where mosques are closed to non-Muslim visitors — most of Morocco, for example — we say so in advance and book the ones that are open.

## 3. Alcohol-free groups and properties

No alcohol is served at any included meal or group event, and the hotels and riads we use are chosen partly for being alcohol-free environments.

There is a written code of conduct every traveller and every member of staff signs up to.

## 4. If we get it wrong

If a meal on your trip is not what we promised, tell your trip leader on the day. We fix it there and then, and we log it — repeated problems take a restaurant off the route permanently.

## FAQ

**Do you accommodate other dietary needs?**
Yes — vegetarian, seafood-only and common allergies. Tell us at booking and we plan around it the same way we plan halal.

**Can I request a female guide?**
On women-only departures, yes. On mixed departures we will tell you honestly what is possible at the destination.
